5 and a half months later...
...we are officially courting! Over the course of the last five and a half months I have been hoping, praying, and obeying the rules and stipulations that my hopefully future in-laws have been putting in place. One of those stipulations was secrecy. I asked to pursue a beautiful young girl last september and have been secretly "getting to know" her since January. Friday morning I got the official word that Margaret feels that I am probably the person she wants to marry.
Here's to the power of prayer!

So if I take you and Brian's lead, here's how I should proceed:
Step 1. Think of cool name for blog.
Step 2. Start a blog. Post comments fairly regularly for a few months.
Step 3. Put blog on hiatus for 4 to 5 months, starving my adoring public.
Step 4. After period of silence, return to blogosphere and announce to the world I'm madly in love and now courting the future Mrs. Honrud. (Make sure to post picture of myself and the lovely lady.)
Congratulations, Charlie! You should have titled the post something different, though. Something like "Good excuses...I Promise!" would work. Hehe.
Well I dare say, derrick, I didn't think that you would catch on so fast. I guess we can now be expecting the new blog anytime now...and... well some 8 months or so an exciting new announcment?
Thanks again for your hospitality. Oh and I am surprised that you actually checked back with the blog. I thought the starvation tactics might have been more effective. Behold the power of friendship...and internet homepages.
